1486 ih problem

First time posting here. So I have a 1486 not sure of the year. A few days ago i started it up and moved it over by the shop to run the wires for a baler monitor. Well today I jump in it to start it an as soon as I hit the key the tractor wants to jump forward like if it was in gear but it's in park. I put it in neutral and it does the same thing. Not sure what's wrong, I can use some help. I ran the wires for the baler under the Cab maybe I moved something?

Definitely shifter linkage. I could pull the shifter out of park without actually shifting it out if there was a load on the tractor like parking on a significant grade. I could then shift into gear so it would be in park and in gear at the same time.
 

I am not an IH guy, but I know that this was a problem with some of the X8X models. There is supposed to be a kit out there that can be retrofitted to them to relieve the problem.
