I was headed back home yesterday when I happened to see this VERY cute little lady standing out by the street. I had the time, so figured I'd stop and pass the time with her. Boy, she was a purdy thing! ...At least from a distance. As I got closer, however, it became clear that maybe she wasn't as young as I had first imagined. She had new clothes on - RED!! Seemed to have a nice personality but was a bit of a motormouth. She just ran and ran and ran! I tried to overlook her flaws but, the more I looked her over, the more I just couldn't ignore some of her "less redeeming" qualities. For example, I noticed her shoes. Oh, they -- were -- bad!! Looked like they'd been sitting out in a fence row for a couple of decades. I don't think even Salvation Army would have accepted them! And as my eyes gazed across the curves of her body, I just couldn't help but notice how her make-up was just thrown on without much care. She had make-up where it just shouldn't be!

Well, I finally decided that if I wanted to save my marriage, I'd best forget this li'l gal and head on back home. Oh, she "did" allow me to take a few pics though. Hope you enjoy. I know I did!!

*hehe* Here's the pics:

Just in case anyone's interested, she's sittin' at the new Cenex gas station in Lake Bronson, MN. Pretty sure she'll be there for a few more days as I don't think thems shoes is meant fer walkin'!!

Just curiosity, (and no disrespect to the lady in question), why did they put the steering wheel/seat in an off center position? That would drive me bonkers.

Now that you mention it, I think I've seen the wheel mounted mostly on the other side. I wonder if there was a reason for this? Never really thought about it. ....Maybe of English descent? *lol*

It is a very early Farmall B, there is no provision for a starter (apart from crank handle). However, not the earliest as they had a push down cutout on the magneto and the next stage was a Bowden cable operated cutout. The tractor shows the final version, a short-circuit wire from the magneto switch by the driver.

There wasn't a price on the sign, but I could get the number for you if you like. The guy's name and number were all that was on the sign. Might be that someone inside the store would know also.

Minus the new paint, that looks like my first tractor I bought from a friend whose family had a farm in N. Okla. As I recall it was in the A-B
range and I think it had the word Super also. Anyway, I had it connected to a 5' long over due for the scrap pile shredder and the local buy-
sell-trade guy was over one day and said I never saw anybody mow a pasture that slow. Well I told him, that's as fast as that old girl will let
me go.

No need for that. I'm not looking, I was just curious.
But thanks for offering!
