Best quick connect set up?

Ok so the info on this sight from it's many members has been invaluable before.
So what is the best quick connect setup for a tractors FEL setup to make it more versatile... I want to be able to take the bucket off and add forks or a tree spade quick connect set up to it .
Do I have to buy a universal plate and cut the flange of my bucket and weld it to the uni-plate? Or is there an easier way folks ? I'm not trying to re-invent the wheel here .:)
Thanks for the help , again.

The easiest, quickest, and mostly best way
is to buy both halves, latch side for loader
and receiver for bucket. Of you a good
fabricator you can make the bucket side
fault easily. For what you can buy them I
wouldn't waste time making them.

I suspect everybody has their own preference, but I bought a tractor and loader that had a Horst set up on it. I made one for my other loader and made all my other buckets and attachments over to work with it. It didn't take much more than a big piece of angle iron to make most of them over.

Just pull two hair pins out of two tapered flat pins, pull those pins and tip away from the bucket.

Look around at what is common in your area. A lot of stuff is
skid steer quick attach these days. Where I am everything is
alo/quicke/euro/global carrier. I have both, the euro style is far
superior but coming from pin on you will be happy with either.

There are old pin grabber style q/a that push the attachments
out farther but grab your old pins. You lose loader capacity
with these style.

Skid steer style is the way to go. I have 4 tree spades all are
skid steer hook up, and only used on skid steers. You would need
a spotter and a very, very good operator to dig trees on a front
loader. Nathan

Ken we are all certainly entitled to out own opinion and I was just wondering what or why you find the EURO coupler to be "Far Superior" MY part of the country it is considered regressive and almost all new tractors are sold with skid steer type quick adapters .

These are all great ideas. I see skid steer attachments online and in catalogs. There seems to be a greater diversity of implements available to Skids than FELs ,Working with a 1976 international Harvester with a single pin center hydraulic system is it worth converting to a more skidsteer friendly attachments or stick with conventional tractor FEL equipment then?

Google "MDS Quick-Coupler". I"ve had one on the 3020 for over 30 years. Good for buckets, bale forks, pallet forks, etc. that are designed for it. No tools to switch - just an over-center cam handle to move. My skidloader attachments are all Universal plate, and you can get a u-plate for the MDS as well.
