I'm seriously considering purchasing a 1985, 4610, 4wd, front loader, that looks, and is described as "mint condition". Anyone own a 4610 and if so what are your thoughts? I like the heaviness of the tractor and simplicity based on what I've read. Again, all thoughts and opinions are welcomed. I will using it on a steep 40ac farm......brush hogging, 7ft side mower, fence post digger, etc. thanks.....

We had a 2wd 4610 no loader for years. Near bullet
proof, loved it. The 4wd loaders were quite the
Cadillac in my opinion in their day.

I used one liked it just could not find one
to buy. Of course it is a 30 year old
tractor

When I worked for the city, we had (they still have it) a 2 wd 4610 that they use for roadside cutting (7' brush hog) and snow (6' broom). We replaced the cab once due to rust but the tractor is still a strong running machine. The only thing that has been replaced on it since they bought it were the tires and alternator. It is a diesel.
