Yesterday I and a friend attended the Devling estate sale at Elwood,Kansas...It was a cloudy-chilly day....There was a large crowd but prices were a little soft..About 75% of the tractors were running..

Seems like everything was a steal! Hard to believe some of that went as low as it did. Difficult day for the seller.

The AC 60 reminds me of the one I learned to combine with including the C engine to run it , if the ground was dry we used a C Allis to pull it.

Lee,there used to be lots of 60-66 AC's in the neighborhood but I cant seem to remember any with the power unit and tandems like the one at Elwood..There was a 12A John Deere with power unit on the sale and it only brought $50..

Man would have to haul them but the cat 22s went for about what they would weigh at the scrap yard here. Just too much old stuff for the amount of collectors, supply and demand.

Think that all the tractors were price were a fella could buy them and not get hurt . I would have paid more for that Dodge pickup.

I have zero, and I mean zero use for a corn sheller, but I might have bid that one up a bit!

Looks like a great auction - neat old stuff for sure.
