March is going out with a Bang

This past week has been nice days warming up and thinking about spring time. Getting ready to be thinking about planting. Yesterday we got strong winds big dark clouds that turned into snow. snow fell but melted away did not stick. This morning woke up to some snow but not a lot of it. the news say that the weekend will be warm and clear. March is really going out with a bang around me. I wondering when I can get planting that crop around where I live. Hope you enjoy the picture of my truck I took it this morning when I frozen my but off as I took the pictures L.O.L.

I forgot to add that my Ford f-250 has been in the shop. It was starting to run funny after 138,000 miles. It felt like it had a racing camshaft in it but it was just a factory diesel 6.0 engine. I had the fuel injectors taking a dump on it. So it has been in the shop now for a week to get them replaced at a coast of 6,000.00 to fix it back up. With out the truck I can not move my tractors and other equipment that I need to do. Can not wait to have that truck back I hope this weekend.

Thanks again for reminding me WHY not to buy a diesel pickup !

I had the ole 1981 F350 with a 460 gas out last night. Sure runs good !

Very nice old GMC you have there. March is going out fairly mild here. Most of the snow gone.

Whatever you do DON'T ever google Ford 6.0 diesel problems!!!

Okay so here is the down load on the price of repairs and coast. total of all parts came to 3,900.87 the labor coast was 1,577.80. The oil change and fuel filters where 128.00 after sales taxes and other fees to pay the total came to 6,218.38. I had to get it done at ford shop because I am trying to build a shop at my new house. I have no shop and very limited on tools right now plus the weather is cold, snow, windy not good to be out in the open doing a tear down fixing truck. One week in shop and behind on moving equipment. Now it is guarantee to do the job I need it for.

I ounce had a ford one ton with a big engine but California Smog rules took it from me. I could not afford to smog it every year as a gross polluter. So I lost it .

My new house is in Benton California. Where is that you ask I leave Bishop California on highway 6. I pass a sign that says providence MA and it give a hug number of miles to it. I drive by it saying to myself where is that?

If you look at my truck you will find that nice white stuff called Snow. Up in those mountains that is not fog but that nice white stuff called Snow. L.O.L

Down here it's March winds, April showers. We get big Southerly Gulf of Mexico moisture laden winds preceeding a NW cool, dry air weather event. The harder and longer the wind blows, the harder the expected cold front and results. The warmer moisture-laden air is forced up by the approaching cool dry air. This is the makings of wind swirling that generates tornados and hail.
