Hello all!

Well, tomorrow morning I'll be headed out of here (Minneapolis) about 4 AM bound for Muscle Shoals, AL. To be exact, I am headed to Tri-County International in Tuscumbia. Picking up a project for a friend. My plan is to be in Waterloo at the JD museum shortly before they open. I'll spend a couple hours walking around there, and then hit the road again bound for AL. Plan is to load up Friday morning, then start making my way back through Tennessee and make a stop in IL to pick up some parts.

I'll be making a video and taking lots of pictures of the short (long) journey.. Hopefully the weather gives me something good! Sure appreciate all the responses to my previous posts about good places to eat. I'll bring plenty of sammich stuff to make on the fly, but wouldn't mind a good southern BBQ stop (or a bunch of rusty tractors to look at)!
 
hey Ken, i was born/raised in tuscumbia and after several moves i now live just outside of tuscumbia. several things planned for friday but if you have some thoughts on time i may be able to met you there. wish i could help on bbq, not found any really great place, none bad just not great. there are a couple good meat and three places nearby, momma jeans or too fat sisters. in 2003 i traded in a completed project, an old cushman truckster in on a new kubota, glad to rid myself of the cushman and glad to get the kubota and with a faily good deal. tri county, long established and reputable company. in the late fifties there was a dairy farm near by that i worked at on weekends as a kid delivering milk house to house, glenview farms, still have an old glass bottle from there. good luck and be careful.
