I usually go to Mac Fadden's spring auction but by the look of the snow in your posts I am having second thoughts about going this spring. I know that you live only a few miles away from the auction site and I was wondering if you have had a chance to go by the site and how well has Jimmy been dealing with the big snow. I have been looking at the weather forecast and it does not look good for Saturday.

Thanks for the pictures of your maple syrup making. It looks like the last snowfall made that operation anything but fun not to mention the mud. Happy farming.

It is supposed to be cold and windy here today. 21F and blowing snow. It is supposed to warm up to 43F on Friday and Sat. 90% chance of rain on Friday, and temps remaining above freezing Friday night. Mixed bag weather wise Sat. Some sun, some clouds, and possible passing rain shower. I'm sure Jimmy will have the auction yard in good condition, but browsing the back 40 will be difficult.
I have opened my e-mail and you can contact me there. If you come down perhaps you could find time to stop by. Only 15 miles west of Jimmy on US20.

Thanks Loren. I have just about decided that I will pass on the auction this time. Thank you for the invitation to visit and someday I will surprise you. I always enjoy the view when I crest the hill by your place and look down over the valley. You have chosen a great place to live and few people know what a great and diverse state New York is. Harvey.
