First day cleaning seed with the rebuilt Clipper 47b

After many hours, and much treasure, I finally am on a job with my rebuild 47b.

I have a thousand bushel of oats to clean at this place, and potentially 300 bushel of barley at another place. I ran it three hours today and did about 150 bushels. I think the machine will easily do 75 bph, but I am still learning, and have a list of things I need to redo...

Looks good. Sorry I missed your call tonight, we were in Madison getting a truck we bought.Son talked me into a Chevy Duramax. Perfect rust free truck from CA. I will be leaving early to go to the sale in Waukon in the morning. Are the ball trays working good? Tom

The ball trays will work better when I re-position them to fit under the screens better. They don't quite line up and the balls keep getting stuck under the screen frame. I need to remove a board in the shoe that isn't easy to remove.

My Grandfather had 2 Clippers..one he used for small seed ( Clover/Timothy) and the other for larger seed.. These were on the floor and they would sure give you a good workout, filling the top hopper and sacking the cleaned grain...

Nice looking arrangements you fellows have..
