OT Counter Top Stove Question

I bought a 5 burner gas stove top that fits into a counter top. Does any one know if these unit will fit into the same size hole as a standard size double kitchen sink?
I haven't done any measuring but I will soon. Hopefully it's the same size as a sink then I'll just get a small counter top at the lumber yard and build me a roll around stove cart for the garage.

If memory serves, the burner top will be larger than a sink cutout. What do the instructions say?

Just measured mine. The depth is close to the same, but stove top is about 3" longer.

Actually you will find there are several sizes. Don't wanna bust your bubble. Now here is what I had to do. Take all of your measurements VERY carefully. If it just drops in or if you need to cut a tiny bit then GOLDEN !!!! Lastly, if you are short then find anyone who builds lunch trucks or stainless counters. Also the stainless door from an old commercial refrigerator. Good local sheet metal supply. You getting the plan here? Just make an adapter plate. If you center it all up with slightly rounded corners it really looks slick when done. Another thought. Check out those shops that do Copper Roofing. Would be an awsum color combo. Hope I helped.

The only thing standard size in a kitchen is a dishwasher. Every manufacturer is going to have different sizes on everything else. The only other thing close to standard is drop in ranges and hoods. They come 30" and 36".

5 burner will be larger than our 4 burner and it's quite a bit larger than a sink.
