The Fargo name has an interesting history as you can see in the link below. I've always been amazed at how long those wooden spokes can last for. Does anyone know what kind of wood was usually used?

Hickory is one kind, according to the site I found.

Cant say on trucks but wagon wheels were usually hickory because of the type of grain.
