I really feel sorry for the whole thing,,its run by the Kempton community center,,a bunch of nice people who volunteer,,they had to plow a tremendous amount for parking etc too

Yes I did. That is going to be a crazy auction, or almost no one will
show up. I would like to see how many of those machines they can get
started?! Bet most of the stuff will go cheep. Please let us know!

Wow! I wonder if the snow will melt off enough to find the sale items.

Thanks for the rusty treats... AND a banana seat bike! I always wanted one of those when I was a kid...
INSTEAD, I got stuck with my aunt's blue adult women's bike with a carrier rack. Ha-ha-ha!
I had to ride that thing standing up for a couple years because I couldn't reach the pedals from the seat! And it was just ugly. :(

Larry,
If that's a 65 cuda, I had one just like it too. Same color. I
saw one on craigslist, $5k and it was all rusted out. What did
the cuda bring?

The car and the panel truck is at an old dodge dealership in the town of Kempton,,not at the sale..I Didnt go to the sale today,,my friend jim is there now,he doesnt live to far from it,Its an hr 15 mn ride for me,and I had some business to do here in NJ Today.

Many looked like they havent run for awhile,if they started you were welcome to try them out,my friend Jim started a tiller he was interested in.I kinda liked this one old walk behind cultivator tractor,,looked like it was kept inside,,it wasnt real clumsy, and simple to put a motor on if needed. It wouldnt start, hadnt run fro a long while. It might run...
I left word with Jim to bid 50 max for me,,we will see,,,lol

There were a lot of people there. Some prices were low, some were good, and some were insanely high. Most times, you could not get near the actual auction to see what was being bid upon because people surrounded the auctioneer.
Overall, the weather was cold, damp, muddy, and there was a constant misting type of rain coming down.
I gave up and left around 2:00.
I was thoroughly shocked at the price that a rototiller brought....
It was an MTD rear tine tiller. Larry and had it running on Friday. The engine smoked, the transmission was frozen up, and it brought $140.00. I was shocked.
