Picked up some items from local farm, man had these tractors and a few more. Retirement projects. No, he doesn't want to sell.

I agree, sin to leave the old girls outside.
There are many Farmall on craigslist, some
rather cheap.

I keep my Farmall in pole barn. Great lawn
mower.

Kinda reminds me of our farm, years ago. We had so many different IHs on the farm, its hard to remember all of them. I know at one
point, we had one of each letter series, a 300, 350, 450, 460, 560, and on up. Each served us well, and served a particular
purpose. As we farmed more and more land, our tractors got bigger, and we were drawn away from IH since there was no dealer
support in the local area. Dad boughta 3020 nd 4020 JD, and the Case 1030 CK.We sold all of the IHs over time, but he always kept
the M, since it was the first one he bought, and it still sits in my shed.

Yes, the tractors would fare better under cover, but he shared with me that he was doing all the farming on his own--quite a few cattle, some goats, and hay. I know one's priorities shift when there's a lot to do and only so much time to do it. Richard--I don't know what the narrow concrete block bldg was for--maybe more tractors in there ;-) Possibly for hay and some shelter for the animals.

The fourth one from the top was his first tractor--1948 I believe.

He gave permission to take the pics with understanding that I would probably post them here.

Oh--this is kind of funny: One very old Ford 8N or 9N practically buried in the weeds between two sheds. Guess he didn't want anyone seeing he had a non-Farmall on the premises ;-)
