Proper voltage regulator

I have a Delco Remy 6v generator #1101398. I need a voltage regulator for it. The regulators I'm finding list the generators they will work on and this number doesn't make the list. I know that gen was superceded a couple times, and one of these is listed in the YT parts Part No: 10A20736 (for gen 1100505). How do I know if this is correct (will work)? This is a three brush generator.

If its a three brush gen does the reg mount to the gen on top. You can get the reg used for the gens used on the H THAT MOUNTED ON A BRACKET The reg for the 1100501 is not for a three brush gen. Does your reg mount on top of the gen if it does the reg for a 1101423 or 1101355 will work.

The VR is a saddle mount on top of the gen.
