5600 ford 233 engine tractor would only crank with help of either. and would only idle and not rev up. installed new tank new petcock new filter installed new injectors and went thru injector pump with new seals and o rings. still needs either to crank and will still only idle help

You must mean needs either to start!--not crank--. Lets get that clarified first.

Cranking means battery or wiring and either will do nothing if it cannot turn the engine over as you are saying will not crank.

Did you remove and clean the inlet screen under the fuel fitting.
Someone had that issue recently with a 4000.

No offense, but considering you have no idea how to troubleshoot/fix the problem, what makes you think that you successfully "went thru the pump" yourself?

the pump is as simple as can be only changed o ring,. filter on pump and seal.cleaned everything well.

i have worked on equipment for 45 years first diesel. built motors rebuilt cars even worked on track hoes.

Are you 100% positive inj pump is timed correctly???

your problem sounds like a worn pump,have your pump put on a test stand and you will see what the problem is also have injectors checked

i think it maybe a worn cam in pump i need to also check the timing. will look at it tomorrow.
