Becoming a Crop adjuster

I was wondering if anybody on here is crop adjuster part-time. I saw a job posting for a part-time crop adjuster and I was wondering about pay,
hours, etc.... I have farming background 20+ years and currently have a small beef herd and make some hay. I have a town job 40 hours per week. It
is worth it and could I make it work with a full time job? I would like to someday give up the town job and expand my work at home.

Just give me your thoughts.

The one here does a lot of traveling. My wife would look in on his wife everyday when she was sick. He'll be gone for days. He lives here in mid Michigan, but it's not unusual for him to travel as far as Ohio when there are claims. He spends a pretty fair whack of time in his home office doing paperwork too.

Our partner on the farm does this as a part time fill in, he can make more in a few days
than the farm can make in a month it seems, but he is GONE a lot....I think it would be wise
to look into it..

My Dad did it after he quit farming. He often paired with mother's cousin. They both died of liver cancer before age 70!
I really believe it was from walking sprayed bean fields!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
