We had a total of 27 tractors entered in the competition. 3 age classes: 1950 and older; 1951-1960; and 1961-1995. The division winners were the Oliver Hart-Parr 70, Minneapolis-Moline 335, Oliver 1755 FWA. The Grand Champion of the show was the Oliver 1755 FWA. Reserve Champion was the Minneapolis-Moline 335. Congratulations to the winners. " Great Job" to all that entered.

All of the restorations look great. I spent a lot of hours on our 335; it was a great utility tractor.

When all the tractors look pretty much perfect, how in the world do they pick a winner? Sometimes the 1st, 2nd, 3rd idea doesn't work if everything is so good. Not to take anything away from the winners .... but .....

In addition to the quality of the restoration, the students are critiqued in areas ranging from their ability to safely and knowledgeably operate the tractor to their restoration record-keeping, knowledge of the tractor and much more. Four teams of judges, representing the various areas of critique, visit with the students during a full-day judging process.

Besides the tractors, we had over 600 FFA and 4-H fabrication projects shown. Some of the projects were displayed outside because of their huge size. 100s of Show photos can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/texaspilot/albums

That's great, sounds like a well-organized event, so a lot more to it than just what you see. Good job boys, the work quality looks outstanding !!!!

I have a 335 utility and a 335 row crop that I want to restore in the near future. Great little tractors.

It's held the last weekend in February at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. It's the Ag Mechanics show. Friday is move in, Saturday is
the judging, and Sunday is the awards and move out. Hundreds of volunteers head this up to make it happen.

so you got them loaded right! great stuff there and I see MM leading off. did you have any kids you worked with there Mike?

Wow , those are some beautiful restored tractors. Very good photos of them too. It would be hard to pick which one is the best if judged on looks only.
We have a 335 utility that has a 2 digit serial no. that is waiting to be restored. Also , we have a 337 industrial that we use often, a very handy little tractor with the shuttle reverser.
Thank you for the photos. clint

I know some of the kids from past years. I did not help any of them this year. Kind of hard to mix business with pleasure. 😉 Texas Cowboy (Tony) is my Leadman during the show. We had a great group of guys we worked with this year.
