The big problem, of course, is trying to find someone who can tell you the truth. It's all about power and $$$ on both sides. Then to confuse the issue you get all the crazies who believe everything they are told making a lot of noise and drowning out those who might have something meaningful, backed by facts, to put forth in the discussion. Meanwhile those of us who rely on a product never get told the truth until it is too late.

For all we know, he might be actually using some sort of harmless baby-bubble bath in there and not glyphosate. If he IS using the real stuff, all it proves is he is an idiot (at least to me). I have no idea if the chemical has any long-range ill-effects on the environment or any humans. That said, it would be foolish to blindly assume not. We rarely get anything for "free" when to comes to technology. It is certainly clear that modern farming does a lot of harm, being based on petroleum and assorted chemicals. It seems as a society, we have no viable alternatives, given the population density and standard of living, and urbanization. So we do it. I am not complaining, but I also am not foolish enough to believe that a chemical that does so well in killing unwanted vegetation, does no harm anywhere, anytime.

isn't photoshop wonderful. The railing around the head is in focus but his face is not and the funny transition bubbles around the neck. At least no one was put at risk!

Like Flint? All they had to do was add some powdered lime to neutralize the acidity that was chewing on the pipes. Read that in several stories. I know with my water system i have one of those lime tanks that you fill up now and then. My copper pipes dissolve if it runs out.

The spray is fairly harmless. Drinking the concentrate at 41% glyphosate can be pretty unhealthy. Apparently 93 people in China (WTF?) tried to commit suicide by drinking the concentrate in China. 7 died, about half damaged their intestines. A little less than half had nothing worse than a sore throat. The spray at about 1% is fairly harmless - unless you use it in a chug a lug contest.

Doesn't look photoshopped to me. Looks like washing out an empty tote of RU when it gets all foamy. Concentrate doesn't get that foamy.

RU is a pretty good soap, probably get you clean.

I was told that originally roundup was a cleaner used by the Navy to clean the bottoms of ship when in dry dock. It really started out as soap. Tom
