Black Beauty looks GREAT

Still waiting for graphics though to make sure that's really you! 😉

Back to duallies again huh? Any reason you went away from the SuperSingles, or is that just what the truck had on it? Do you have a preference?

This is just what it had. I didn't see much difference in handling or ride, at least not rhat I could tell. They save some weight and are suposed to save fuel, but you would have to check both types on the same truck to verify that with me. These should save me some money tho because I can move my steers back and run them out on the rears when these are worn out so I shouldn't have to buy many drive tires this way. On my last truck in a million miles I did that and recapped one set so I never actually bought any drive tires except a couple blow outs.

Jon,How are you likin that Paccar engine by now, power wise, fuel mileage, drive ability compared to the old Volvo, and is it a MX11 or is it a MX13?

It's a 13. Milage is some better than the volvo at 7.7 over 22,000 miles which is about 3 or 4 tenths better than the volvo on winter fuel, but it is going up yet. Power is not as good as the volvo.

Looks like you're at the Baker road exit west of Ann Arbor, MI off I 94 south of Dexter, MI. There is a truck wash there...

JON you put that poor girl thru streakin beakin!!! Good lookin girl. Hope she serves you well. Can t beat a shiny ride. RB

Purdy truck!!

Drove through Nebraska one night, been raining hard for days, noticed every now and then the fog line would disappear
.Pulled into the truck wash the next afternoon and they told me because the fields were so wet the worms went for higher ground (the freeway) what a mess, they were not liking their job

Getting anywhere with the rattles and squeaks? A few years ago I flew to Omaha to pick up one of those big cab Petes for a friend. It had an awful squawk from over on the right. After awhile I started wedging a folded piece of corrugated cardboard into different places to see if it would stop. When I finally got home and looked it over better I could see misalignment in some fairing pieces, and then I could see that it had collision damage.

Most of the squeaks were because noone had greased the hood stops, once I saw that and greased them it
quiteted right down. It's pretty good that way now.
