March In Like a Lamb

The old saying, March coming in like a lamb means it goes out like a lion. Today was more lamb like than lion I'd say. Although it was below
zeroF at sunrise when I went out there was no wind. Once the sun got up burning through the fog and making everything picturesque it seemed a
right nice day. I'd been scheduled to load cattle but plans changed at the last minute so I thought since I had the tractor plugged in and
warm I'd clean up some snow around the yard where the traffic zone is. I thought I was shooting some good drone video and pics but as usual I
messed up. Missed the really good scenes but I managed to edit out this screen grab from a segment of video.

They're predicting high winds here later today and a temperature drop from the 60's down into the 20's by morning. That's a pretty obvious roar in my book.

I know some people think it has to happen exactly on March 1st but the weather doesn't know what day it is on the calendar. If it howls anywhere from the 27th of February to the 2nd or 3rd of March, that's close enough for me.

In like a lamb here. Daylight it was 0?C then at 11:30 it is 5.6? C calm and beautiful for pruning. Ed Will Oliver BC

Voting lion for Indiana. Alot of storms and most of town still without power. Schools are close again tomorrow.

we had severe thunderstorms, flooding and tornadoes yesterday evening. this morning it was close to 50 degrees, temp right now at 4 pm is 32 degrees and its snowing and high winds. n central illinoiz, kind of more lion-ey id say!!

I would say here in so. Mn. we are more lion then lamb. Now that day is 2/3 over and the lion is about behind me, I'm glad I got it over with and am looking forward to lamb at end of month.

March came in like a lamb here just south of the border in NNY but tonight it is going to be very windy and possibility of snow. I enjoyed Rusty's aerial picture of his farm. Happy farming.

We're about 200 miles south east of Harrisonburg, VA in Married2Allis's weather map. 7:40 EST,we're looking for some nasty wind, rain, hail around 10:00 P.M.!! Hope we duck the worst of it. On another note, two long time friends of mine lost their home, belongings to a fire yesterday. No details, just hope they've got good insurance.

Both, here in mid Tenn. Morning - rain. wind. t-storms. At noon, calm, sunny & warm.

Cannot say lamb but a lot better than a lot of lions I have seen. I would say midway. Northwest Ohio

Woke up to 53 degrees and peepers chirping (for the first time)Wednesday morning here in southwest MI. By evening, the wind was howling, snow covered the ground, in the 20's. Your call on a lamb or lion.

March gave you a little lamb head fake, then the lion appeared.
