anybody used one of these for gophers? there expensive to buy, just wondered if they work as well as it appears they do, also any problems with dogs and livestock getting sick from the gophers, in other words does the critter croak in the tunnel, or does it come up and gop to water and croak on top of the ground where it can be picked up by something

I use a gopher getter made by Elston in my field. So far no dead cats from it. They used to hunt them. Make sure you don't let chickens get your bait takes them out quick. Run it through the field after rain so it can sink in.

I thought Kelly Bundy was The Verminator in some TV commercials.

It goes to show the mind set of some of this braintrust. My first thought was of Kelly Bundy also.

I know of several fellas that use the probe to inject the bait into the rodent tunnel. They seem to have very good luck with that set up and typically the critter is unseen.
