Is the gray Ferguson paint heat proof?

Gonna paint this old TO30 and I'd like to get the gray MF paint from "Yesterday's Tractor". At no place do I see that it's heat proof. I'm guessing it is if its on the engine and block, but like to be sure. Thanks....

We know that the factory did not use high heat paint on the engines. I have never seen paint on an engine, other than those that had been in a fire, that appeared to have heat damage. Do you really need high heat paint? If you do, be sure that you find high heat primer to put under it, other wise you can depend on your paint coming off prematurely here and there.

Heat proof? Unless you're painting the
exhaust manifold with it heat proof
makes no difference. Even an overheated
engine gets to maybe 230, under normal
operation more like 200. Nothing will
happen to most any paint at those low
temps.

The tractor paint from Yesterdays tractor is as good as any. I have never had any luck with the so called "heat resistant" paint.

Guess its ok to use regular tractor paint. Not wasting time on the manifold. That won't hold paint. Thanks for the reply.
