Finally had time late Saturday to work on my 01
Ford 7.3. Needed to clean the screens in the tank
and replace the fuel pump. Dropped the tank and
the screens were almost completely plugged.
Cleaned them put it back together and moved on to
the fuel pump. Somebody had put the wrong pump
in the box so it would not work and it was too late to
get a different one. Go and get the right one this
morning and proceed to install Tightening the
electrical connector with a socket and darn stud
breaks off. Mind you I did not have a ratchet on it
just the socket and extension. Won't have a new
one till late tomorrow. I give up till then
