What's for dinner?

I just finished up the chuck roast, mashed potatoes, and carrots. I've got a fair amount of beef and gravy for tomorrow. It all turned out very well. Should have had a salad but there would not have been any room anyways.

Middle son grilled salmon with mesquite chips, wife made broccoli and cheesy rice, and daughter baked peanut butter chocolate brownie for dessert. I paid for it all and ate well.

Tonight was fried chicken.slow cooked in cast iron. My sons favorite. Green beans, hand mashed potatoes.later will be chocolate ice cream

Haven't started making it yet because we just got in from chores, but the plan is grilled cheese sandwiches cooked on the wood stove griddle top, made with our home made Chevre (goat cheese), plus tomato soup, and buttered peas (also heated on the wood stove).

The better half is napping, so I better get with it on supper.

WOW, had BBQ beef boneless short ribs, with taters and carrots. I must be learning something about cooking.....SWMBO had seconds.

I just walked into the house, supper was brisket, ribs and pulled pork with sweet potatoes, ear corn and the best baked beans I have ever ate. Sweet tea to wash it down, and a $10.00 tip.

Just threw together a little tuna salad for sandwiches. 3 cans of tuna, chopped celery and onions, paprika, garlic powder, celery seed, and fresh ground salt and pepper.

Went to #2 son's today, for his youngest's first birthday. DIL made some excellent chili and corn bread- SWMBO and I perhaps "over partook", so we're not the least bit hungry tonight.

Drove 1 hour to one son's hockey game drove another hour further for other son's hockey game had KFC on the way home lol

Baked Lasagna (with lots of Garlic), and Garlic bread with extra home grown chopped Garlic in the butter.
The Garlic was a hard neck variety called Leningrad - good stuff!

Had a (frozen) chicken truck turn over locally.... made some chicken / spinach/ cheese sausage....will perfect it next time hopefully... but not too bad...

I don't do fast food too often, but road food is one reason why I look like the michelin man.
