A good friend wants me to find him a GOOD small type Kubota, or similar tractor with a backhoe. Maybe a
L35 or L47, or L3200 type....Anybody have any good input for me ? thanks Jim in N.M.
 

I don't think that you would be able to find one that is not GOOD, unless it has been in a fire or totally trashed or something like that.

I bought a Kioti CK20S-H
ST (22hp, hydrostat, 4wd, w/loader and Kioti b'hoe) new in 2009 and I've had real good luck with it, just routine maintenance.........no problems. It is only 48" wide so it will get in about anyplace that I need it to (my bigger tractors won't do the job if they can't get there). From watching the Kioti forums and others it appears that the CK-20 is one of the most trouble-free. I bought it after looking at MF, Kubota and Deere and comparing things like steel hood ,fenders, etc. Also, the weight (4,000# with b'hoe & loader) seems to indicate that it's 'all there'. Additionally, it was made in a country (South Korea) that has been a good ally of this country.........Japan is the country of origin of the other three....and they are using us, in my opinion.

Would I recommend this tractor? Absolutely, IF it's big enough for your needs. She's a little 'Power Brute'. 8)
