We have a 69 power shift 4020. Where do warren e tap into
The hydraulics to feed the loader hydraulic box and not starve overall supply

I had an older 4020, don"t remember a Tee at the rockshaft, but on my 3020 I replaced the elbow in front of the brake pedal with a Tee, and fed the valve with that. It"s the same line, just a different end.

Locate pressure oil line at priority valve [ under dash cowl , right side] tee can be attached at valve end or rockshaft housing under metal floor deck, but line will need cutting or reshaping ( We replace most with good quality 3000 + psi hyd. hose..) Return line should be att. to rockshaft return line [left side tran. case].. much cheaper than ported filter cap.. safer than drilling & taping filter housing... Pic. is of syncro / powershift will not need elbow , just tee..

Your '69' 4020 with side console hyd. controls will not have an elbow [that can be replaced with tee ] on either end of hyd. line to rockshaft, as early models have, at below brake pedals ,or at rockshaft control valve...

Hopefully you know this, the loader valve must be set up for closed-center operation. So when the valve is NOT flowing oil to a loader cylinder or is centered it is basically blocks flow to the valve. Open center allows oil to be pumped in a circle under no pressure.
