While working on my Farmall MD, I found the name of this company cast into the bottom side of the pistons. They are the overbore size. I have never heard of SILCO before. M&W I have heard of and they seem pretty common. Googling SILCO doesn't bring up much.....

Just curious,

Happy New Year's Eve!

Thanks for helping me brush up on my Italian. I don't think the company in your link is the correct SILCO. They make sand blasters and shot peeners. And that company started in the 90's. This piston set was put in the tractor before that. Tractor is a 1950 model.

His link brought up a page for me that is in English and this is part of the product list: "engine heads and crankcases - pistons - connecting rods - axle shafts"

It was a list of applications for what their company can blast. They pretty much list any mechanical part possible.

Not much on google for "SILCO piston"....other than a set for sale on Ebay. The seller says that they came from a Chrysler dealership!
