My Dad in-laws Birthday party was held in the party room of a restaurant in town and after it was over we were walking back to the car we passed a craft shop and in the window was this quilt. It was a tribute to Ford trucks--I said to my wife how much I like it. She acted like she could care less about the window display and kept on walking. Low and behold this is what I got for Christmas. My daughter and wife had already been working on it in secret before I saw it in the window! I have always been a Ford man and now Ford will keep me warm on the cold winters night. THANKS JEANINE AND SARAH-------------------TEE

They forgot the rotted out rear fenders on the newer one ! Didn't recognize it. LOL. Here in Ohio those later Ford's really rot up fast. Maybe that's the alum one ? Betting they will get fluffy white bumps fast.

Big Tee, that is some quilt. I am a Ford retiree, and have some neat Ford collectibles. That would be a great add-on to my collection, but I am sure it is one of a kind. Enjoy!

Hey---They all rust, especially with all the salt the DOT uses in Iowa. The worst I have ever seen was a mid 70's Chevy. We went to a farm sale about 40 mi. N of here and afterwards we stopped in their local pub to wet our whistle for the ride home. This Chevy was sitting out front of the bar and the box on the Chevy had rusted so bad that it had settled over the frame and was almost rubbing on the ground. Ever since 1981 my new pickups have been red and Ford.-----Tee

Have you ever heard the Christmas song Rusty Chevrolet? Around here they say This is Ford country, on a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust!

You must have forgotten it was Christmas! If you really don't like Fords, I suggest not buying one. But apparently that would put you in the minority.

Great gift Big Tee. It would have been a great gift even if it had been a Dodge, if that was your favorite.

That was sneaky, but sneaky gifts are the best ones because they are what you want, not what the purchaser wants for you.........like how many ties do you need when you are a blue collar worker??????????????? Grin
