450g transmission

I have a john deere 450 g dozer. My transmission pressure oil temp light flashes. Peddles wont come up when you take the brake off. It was 20 below a week ago first problem ive had. Where do i start

Change fluids and filters. Clean all screens..
Contain oil, look for any metal in oil and filters. Also check operators manual to see if they require a warm up period.
Report back after this is done.

If the oils cold it wont have pressure till it warms up?

Could it have some water in the fluid that is now ice?
