Pretty neat car

I know I'll never have one or likely even see one in person but I think these are a really neat rendition of a true American icon. They made 77 of these this year to commemorate the year Smokey and the Bandit was released and the 77 Trans Am's used in the movie each signed by Burt Rennolds himself. A company in Florida (?) converts new Camaro's into these and GTO's. This version has a supercharged 7.4l putting out 840 engine hp.

Gold screaming chicken on black - I love those cars! But at $115k not in my price range. I'd just like to have an original hood to hang on the wall in the shop!

The Pontiac brand has been gone for 6 something years for good reasons. When cars are just re-badged with slight cosmetic changes that's mainly why, along with low volume sales. Who would want that car, with so many unique and one-off parts with a label from a brand that doesn't even exist. It looks neat and cool though.

In negotiations with the .gov for a huge loan, GM decided to cancel the brands Pontiac, Saturn and Hummer, they almost dropped GMC trucks too and also sold off Saab. GM already eliminated Oldsmobile several years before this. What was the most disturbing part of these .gov bailouts was this very thing above, taking money to rebuild the company all while eliminating 10's of thousands of U.S. jobs directly and indirectly.
