Installing LED lights on Tractor

How many of you have installed new LED lights on your tractors? I ordered 4 new LED lights to install on my 1066. The 1976 factory lights and wiring is not working. I decided it would be easier to install
new lights and wiring rather than try to trouble shoot the old wiring and deal with the existing lights that may or may not work. Wondering how many others have done this? The ones I ordered are 18 watt,
1260 lumen flood lights. Hoping they work well.

Haven't put them on a tractor, but I put two 36 watt ones on the front of the snow plow on my snow plow pickup to replace a couple of old sealed beam lights.

Haven't had reason to try them for real, but they seem plenty bright in my shop with the shop lights turned off.

I did that to my 706 and have been extremely satisfied with them. It wasn't worth the aggravation of dealing with the old wiring and figured if I want a guarantee on no issues, replaced it all. Easily the best upgrade I have done on equipment.

I replaced 6 of the 12 old sealed beams on my 3588 and wow what a difference! Brighter light, less draw on the alternator, and less amps through the switches and connections. I'm saving up to do them all at some point.

I found a deal on Amazon, 4 floods for $40.00. After I ordered them, I saw they had another deal if you ordered 8 of them for $52.00. If i had noticed I would have ordered 8. If these 4 work out as good as I hope, I will order 8 next time. Have several tractors with no lights...

I bought these LED's for my snow tractor 3 years ago and they work so well I bought 3 more last week for my new snow tractor:

Two on the front of the cab, and one on the back. They're the only light source aside from the tractor headlights(which are rather dim) in this picture:

Just put one of these on my loader tractor. HOLY BATMAN what a difference and for the better I might add. 95% of my snow is pushed in the dark and is actually fun to push snow now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/322335297864?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I put a set on my Polaris ATV to replace the low beams. Polaris want $32 for each bulb, bought a pair of LED's for $24 shipped from Amazon. Wish I had done it earlier...unreal how much more light they put out compared to stock. They use less power too. I was so pleased with the results that I replaced the three sealed beams on my Bobcat with LED's from Northern Tool (on sale for $25/pair). From now on any equipment needing lights will be getting LED's.

I put [b:4a5fd65802]these[/b:4a5fd65802] on the larger of my snow crew.
6 for $40 so I have 3 spares. Love them so far.
They are actually metal, so they may rust. Two year warranty.
I may put some on mini-me too.

Love mine. 22 inch light bar on the kubota. Sorry the pictures are sideways. Forgot to rotate my phone.

I put 8 of these on my combine this year, replaced 8 halogen lamps, LEDs make the halogens look like candles, and use a fraction of the power. I'm sold on them, not even worth replacing a bulb in a halogen lamp now.

I replaced every light on the Deere 4650 with LED's, even those four normally worthless lights in the front of the hood. I did add two lights to the lower frame ahead of the cab too. Now with the LED's the whole world around the tractor is white and bright. Distance vision isn't all that much better but long distance lighting isn't necessary for me. On the 1086 loader tractor I put a 82 LED 36 inch long light bar above the windshield, just ahead and slightly below the roof line. All I can say is WOW! I turn it off if I am meeting someone so I don't blind him.

Will any of the led lights work on 6v? Even at reduced light output if they would work they would be easy on the system.

If you can't find 6v LEDs, couldn't you just run a MOPAR resister in the power line, like so many do to use a 6v ignition system on a converted to 12v set up?
