72 degrees right now.
If the low temperature tonight is only suppose to get down to 56
How the heck is the high for tomorrow only going to be 51

If you keep going in the same direction it just gets colder and colder. Minus 25 or so tomorrow here!!!!! almost 4 degrees today, minus 9 now! Central Minnesota. Jim

OK so the temperature starts dropping now and at 11:59.59 it is 56 degrees
It continues to drop the rest of the night and all day tomorrow.
So wouldn't the low for today be 56 also
Or do you think they have it figured out that it will be 56 at 1159 and 51 at midnight.

I could understand if the low for tonight was the same temp as the high for tomorrow
It would just mean the high was at midnight because the temps were dropping all day.

I see you're point. Don't make sense. I always wonder when they talk about the "normal" temp. as in-normal high for this date is xx. I can see there being an average temp. but not a normal temp.

To make better of a bad deal , it was warm here today but gonna be cold tomorrow. AH!! I don't do weather just make the best of it , swat skeeters one day and freeze the next. Louisiana , if you don't like the weather today just wait a minute it will change!!

We were under a tornado warning for about 45 minutes

mid Tenn. 70 degrees right now, 20 degrees by 8 am Sun! Tornadoes missed us so far. But 50 degree drop in 8 hrs?

The whole average temperature thing is a fraud anyway,right here on my farm the temperature can vary 5 degrees at different spots and YES I have moved the thermometers around to check them.
So I can average which ever one I want to come up with what I want just like the climate crackpots do.

It just warmed up to -1F here near Omaha, NE. I'm having big trouble understanding 72F weather in mid-December. Your ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hockey seasons must be pretty short down there, LOL!

You see, the website that's making the prediction is in California. So the low was 56 at midnight with the temperature dropping. But in California midnight your time is 10:00PM their time, so the temperature drops for two more hours to 51 before tomorrow's forecast starts. Make sense??? ;^)
