Mahindra 2565

Recently bought a 2565 Cab Shuttle shift. Only have a few hours on it so far pushing snow in upstate NY. Seems to be solid machine with plenty of power to handle 10' box blade even in wet snow. Had a 65HP Belarus that sometimes struggled with the blade last year, and the Mahindra just runs away with it.
Only negatives so far is Owners manual and Service manual appear to have been written by people who know little English and don't proof read - pretty much worthless!
Looking for any input from people that have had Mahindras for a while on a couple topics:
1. We have temps down into single numbers so on other diesels I have you typically hold heater on for about 30 seconds until you see a little vapor or hear a signal and then light it up. Mahindra has a glow plug signal but I've held it on for only 30 seconds, or until my hand goes to sleep before starting and never noticed a difference. BTW it started at 3 degrees yesterday even when I forgot about glow plug. With all the new emission equipment and being turbocharged I'm trying to be careful. Any thoughts / suggestions?
2. 3 point hitch arms seem to move in about 4 inch increments. You keep moving control lever with nothing happening and then suddenly the lift arms move 3-4inches both up or down.
All my other tractors lift arms have always been very smooth / consistent relative to control movement. Is this typical of Mahindra or do I need to have a discussion with my dealer?

I have a 6500 the lift arms go up steady on mine.As far as winter starting I just turn the key to the run there is a little light when it goes off it is ready to crank on mine.

Thanks for reply.
So you just turn it to "run" position and wait for glow plug lite to go off before cranking?
Mine has a spring loaded "glow" to the left you have to hold, but never held it long
enough for lite to go out - fingers start to cramp before light goes out.
Any idea how long your lite stays on in cooler weather - like around 20 to 40 degrees for example?
