Here is what I do in the Winter. When in Wisconsin the high for the day is 4 degrees above 0 and I don't have a heated garage to work on a tractor. So I started carving. Here is a picture of the last caricature.

I have a "hobby room" in the basement and repair/refurbish metal toys like Tonka stuff.

Ray I reload to and am having the same problem its just to cold to go out and shoot and to cold to go and cast more bullets to but we have a warm up coming the end of next week so may be then. Randy

What a great hobby and what a great job you did on your project. My hobby in the winter when I have some spare time is I like to sit down, think of a friend from my past that I haven't heard from in some time and just write them a letter. Just tell them that I wanted them to know, that I was thinking of them and wondering how they were doing. Sometimes it is to thank them for something or just to say how important their friendship has been to me. A wonderful exercise sometime to try is to sit down and try to put on paper your Blessings. I have done this and you will only scratch the surface but the wonderful thing about a computer is you can store your thoughts and go back at a later date and add to the original. As a person thinks about this your mind will travel off into many different tangents as different people, events and circumstances come to mind. I have done this and so far it is several pages long and like I said it has just scratched the surface.

Really nice job of copying the picture, both carving and painting.. Currently doing the La Nina from Artesania Latina from Italy in wood frame and planking. When finished I have the La Pinta, La Santa Maria, and the Mayflower. Ought to keep me busy for several winters.

I'm a model maker when not working on my tractors, been building models since the 3rd grade. The Boss was in the hospital for the past 2 weeks, so i built this M48A3 while she was there. Gonna add a M113 ACAV with this M48 to do a diorama of the 11th ACR in Vietnam

Oh, I spent 20 years on real tanks:M60A3,M1, M1A1,M113A2 and HMMWV's
