OT Last Months Super Moon over Omaha

For some reason, I could not email from my phone, so had trouble getting this one on here till now! This was taken last month on the Tuesday evening after the supermoon on Monday! Church spire is 6 blocks from my house. I had a whole other 'image' in my mind of how this should look, but this is what I had to work with, and it turned out much better than what I had in mind!

I had to take my Canon off of auto focus, set it to infinity, and then just position the spire where I wanted it! It was a fun challenge!

Great shot indeed! I enjoyed observing it with a higher end binocular, sure was a bright one. This moon was supposed to appear 30 some odd percent larger, also brighter. You won't see it again for another 18 years. I have to admit, its still fun to go outside and see something like a bright full moon in the middle of the night, same with the meteor showers. I'd often venture a walk around the place at these times, just to experience natures pretty cool nightlight !

Also shut off the optical stabilizer. Doing night photograph every
once in awhile I forget to. Nice shot.
