Farmall 300 help. Suddenly quit running.

Went out to snowblow my driveway and I got to the end of the driveway and it all of a sudden quit running. Will not turn over with the key and I have no lights. When I jump the solenoid all it does is turn over and over and over. While doing that gas drips from
The carburetor. Previous to this the tractor has run flawlessly. I had it parked in a warm garage. Last thing done was replace points a few months ago. Any tips on where to start? Must of lost power somewhere.

From the starter relay (on the top of the starter) there is a smaller wire connected with the big Battery cable, That is the source point for all power. It leads to the amp gauge inside the dash. The amp gauge feeds all systems and takes charge from the generator. The issue could be a connection or broken wire in that circuit, or the amp gauge itself is toast. If it has a generator, they usually stay running until shut off. If alternator, they will die. Jim

Janicholson is probably correct. It's a source of power issue. I have tried the tsc points and as someone else said they have a "reputation to uphold lol". I had a couple sets break and it would shut the motor off just like ya turned the key off. There could be an issue in the key switch also. Take a test light to it shouldn't take long to figure out. For what it's worth my points always broke at an idle right after i worked the snot out of it usually in winter time.
