My friend got married Saturday, and had gift opening today. Would of posted sooner but didn't want to risk giving it away. Anyway he like tractors and computers, and she likes purses, birds, furniture....

I made a design(hard to see, camera didn't flash sorry)

They picked it up and knew right away who it was from... had a good laugh at the pack job. I packed the extra space with towels, dog food bag wrapper and baler twine "ribbon".

Do you almost have too much time on your hands? Very nice toy for their wedding gift. Now when they have kids let us hope you knock out a few for them to play with and Not this gift. Yes that was a big hint. :)

A lot of people don't appreciate gifts like that. I am not one of them. Very thoughtful. Like giving them part of yourself. Good job!

They liked it. Me and the groom(for sure) both like gifts that are practical so that's why its a clock and calendar. Then I just made it myself to make it more "custom" to them(and cheaper) over just any store bought item.

Just got bored at night for a spell.
I think kids are a few years out yet, for them. If I do anything to play with the it would be a lot more durable and functional as a toy over de'core

Notice that the wagon is also calendar...practical gifts are best. I was thinking an analog clock in the wheel, but thought no he likes computers go digital. I told him if he don't like the clock pop it out and put a piece of clear plastic in there and its a picture frame.

I got it...make blanks then paint for different brands...red for Farmalls/Masseys...Green for Ollies/Deere....yellow for Minnies ...orange case/allis and so on.....could make a killing

Here is another though. Make a hay bale wagon for that rig. Then you take two wood blocks and make a calender wagon. One block has one through six ,the other is 1,2,7,8,0 and something else or is it blank? The 6 and 9 are the same number just upside down. Just a thought for another project. Fun!

Good idea! My wife bought a slate shingle with an 1855 Oliver painted on it at the local tractor show. Always a good place to get collectables like that.

thanks, lot of time and thought (that I guess makes love) anyway. Thought ya'll would like it so that's why I posted
