I Fell In Love With Something Today.

would like to see it after 2 years in Wisconsin winters with all the rust we get other then that it slick

I would like to see that with a 5000 lb load on it, at so,e point there is a lot of cantilevered load hanging out the back, would make a lot of
negative tongue weight and tougher to slide? I'm sure it is really cool but using a JD/ Danahue trailer, so,etimes it doesn't quite work as nice as
the empty demo looks.....

It's gonna rattle some with the pin lock setup. And that brake lever, wouldn't want to take that through the cornstalks or sapling trail, looks like
the brake lever would get slapped on by accident?

Nice tho.

Paul

Kinda funny cuz I just saw one on craigslist for 2800.
Looks like it would be great for small tractors and cars.

Yep, gotta agree,

LOL no wonder it's called a Texas trailer, don't think that would work so well on ice and snow.....

It is a neat concept but as other Yankees have said, I don't think it will hold up in the northern winters. I have a tilt bed. Much simpler and only 2 latches, one on each side.. It will also lock to hold it in the tilt
position with the turn of a hydraulic valve.

Very cool idea ! But as others said give it 2-5 years in the winter salt and lets see how it is. Good summer trailer
though, or down south.

SALT whut the ell is dat... Ever since 2005 are so they go hog wild with it around here my rides stay at home. I did a new Vehicle inspection on two Ford trucks in the last week a 2011 & 2012 both eat up with rust.

A bud stopped we looked it up he is looking to trade his to another guy for one of'em... The other guy said it was to heavy for his 1/2 ton truck I do not no any other details about it. We are going on a little road trip tomorrow I will tell him to load something on it before he seals the deal. Thanks for the tip...

my brother has a way bigger trailer than that made by john deere about 40 yrs ago,,. deere built it to move wide planters vand it worx well for 20 ft grainheaders too ,.. dependable mechanical wheel locks too ,,. none of that modern bullchit electric yuppi failure chit that wont last 2 yrs on the most pampered roads ,,. let alone the salted northern roads ..

I really get a kick outta calling most of these trailers "car haulers" mine has the rail around the edge, load the car and you can't open the doors !!!!

Would be nice in the southern states for more than a year.
I do like the idea of safer load/unloading with no ramps to slip off of.
