Anyone here that likes Rumaki???

Chicken livers and water chestnuts are marinated in a simple, savory sauce, then wrapped with bacon and fried.

Although I prefer to bake mine instead of frying them....

1 1/2 cups teriyaki sauce 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic 12 ounces fresh chicken livers, halved 1 (4 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced 12 slices bacon, cut in half. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

This is when I wish I could edit my post...Basically. it's chicken livers wrapped in bacon strips. Here is a pic I found on the 'net'......

Must be kinda like eating woodcock. Have to wrap it in bacon to be able to keep it down! Grouse and pheasant are great. Woodcock a little too earthy for me. Buddy that I hunt with gets them all, compares them to liver. Yuck!

I might have to be like a dog and lick my butt to get the taste out of my mouth:) I like water chestnuts but not the liver.

No takers here. :)

Try shrimp - wrapped in bacon then brushed with BBQ sauce... then grilled. Now that's some good stuff.

No chicken livers or shrimp for me but I do like pork or beef liver but use 2 pounds of onion to one pound of liver when frying. Makes the liver nice and moist, not dry.

Not for me, when my father had his heart problems the doctor told him, NO organ meat at all!!

Don't remember ever being told something like that back the month before I first met you when I had my heart bypass operation.
