Going to be staying south of Nashville over the weekend and may have some time to kill.
Any good tractor boneyards around?
 
I-40 Exit 143, Rt. 13 south on the left. Many cars & trucks, mostly older with a few scattered tractors, at least one with a loader. 1 hour west of Nashville.
 
Theres a small one called Tips in Lawrenceburg and There's one in Athens, AL. Sikeston, MO is so strong on parts that it is hard for anyone else to exist in the area. If you've never seen Sikeston it is worth a stop sometime. It has at least 4 big yards all in the same town.
 
Campbell tractor used to be just a few miles from tips on the same road 931-762-7185. now its been a few years since I was there but he had farmall stuff scattered on both sides of the highway then

It's not a junkyard, per se, but there is a very good used (and some new) equipment dealer in Columbia, TN, which is about 40 or so miles due south of Nashville. The dealer is called Lynch Equipment. I've bought quite a few things from them over the years, and I love to just walk around and look at all of the stuff that he has for sale. Mike Lynch is the owner, and a man who is some kind of shirt-tail relative of Mike's runs the place when Mike's not there.

Good folks. Good selection. Good prices.

Mid-south salvage in Decatur al. Huge tractor salvage yard. Well worth the drive. Well over 100 miles one way for us but never disappointed. (don't call it a junk yard!! ). Lol.
 
CP You should know but last time I talked to Larry and Joan I was told they were having a sale and shutting it down.. Are they still in business or not. Larry and his brother were farming big and they also said they were cutting back . this has been two years or more ago. I used to send a lot of Massey folks their way. At one time they had more Massey parts than anyone.
