Hauling Bales In Snow

We picked up the 200 or so flax straw bales yesterday. It was snowing a little and around 30 degrees so a good temp for working. Using my 36 yea old "yesterdays tractor", the 2090 Case on the trailer.

My sister in law uses them in a big stove to heat a greenhouse to start garden plants in spring (or late winter) .
We have to get the flax straw off the fields anyway so this is one way to use up some of it.

Figuring your pickup maybe an 87 that to could be a yesterday's machine!! Wish I had a brand new Chevy like that!!

Would like to know more about the stove your SIL has, if you don't mind. I have been thinking of burning hay for some time now. There is always a supply of junk hay to get rid of, around this part of Michigan anyway.

I'll see if I have any pics of the stove. It holds 3 square bales and will keep the greenhouse warm all night.
