Got sideswiped by a Mn. DOT truck this morning. I was in the left lane passing him and the car in front of him slowed down so instead of hitting his brakes he just turned into me. His front wheel hit mine so I must have filled his window, but he said he never saw me. I'm just glad he was honest and told the truth, wouldn't have been hard to put the blame on me. At least I didn't get any citations. Not much damage to my truck, just a scuff on the fender and door and some damage to the front wheel. His truck wasn't so lucky tho, tore off or bent most of the lugs on his front wheel and messed up the side of his box bad.

Glad he didn't cause you to have a bad wreck. I passed a state highway truck not long ago drifting into my lane and the driver looked like he was 'texting' or something looking down.

That poor truck is cursed. How long before it is "that old truck" and you trade up to one with better kharma?

You better seriously consider getting a safer job or getting a different truck, that one is evidently cursed. Glad you weren't hurt.

I had the same thing happen to me in LA years back. Guy hit me in the steer tire. I didn't notice any problem at first, but after a few thousand miles my steers started to wear funny. Best get your alignment checked. Tires aren't cheap. Al

I have been up your way, this week working think your truck just blends in with the snow too much.

When they start getting that close it is time for a vacation. I retired from driving truck 1.5 years ago because the close calls were getting to close. Steve
