w 6 serial number

I recently purchased a rusty old w 6 .Got it home and when I went to check the serial number,,it is 46079. According to all the lists I have checked,,46011 is the last number..Are all the lists incorrect?

46011 first built in March 1952 and some built after that to near end of month. That's a late one.

Don't know about that tractor but MOST lists do not give a final serial number. They only give the first serial number for that year and with that you can figure out what the final number was for the year except for the last year that model was made then no way to figure out what that last number made was.
