Lost my drain pan

I changed oil in everything the last couple of weekend and cannot find my big drain pan now. We are expecting rain as the weather changes, sure hope it is not sitting out where it will make a mess.

Try walking through your shop with the lights off and it should turn up, or get kicked over, or stepped in. Lol

Mine is under the old grain truck where I used it two days ago. Today I lifted the engine out of that truck with that stupid pan under there. I was sure I would drop something in it. I didn't. There's always tomorrow when I replace the engine. I'm so stupid. I'll go out of my way to make a self-fulfilling prophecy pan out but I won't pull that heaping trough of oil out and dump it.

There is a law of nature called by a man named Murphy, one of the axioms being a tool or part will relocate itself, all by itself, to where it can do the most damage, or suffer the most damage. It will also damage the most expensive other part within range.

I had a plastic one covering an open barrel of used oil. When I went to the farm yesterday it was missing. We had had some wind for the past days. I found it today, down behind an old bedliner full of scrap metal. I thought it had probably blown into the road, where someone picked it up.
