I put it on stovebolt but you all are pretty smart.

Anyone had dealings with a 1935 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton truck?

The screen has come off the oil pump so I need to pull the pan. I got it lose but can't seem to get it out from between the front and rear cross members. Do I have to raise the engine? Anyone know? The old girl is taxing my patience.

Yes, you will need to lift it up some so the pan can clear the front seal holder and slide back. On my 1939 Chevy, I lifted front of the engine slightly with a chain hoist from above after taking the front motor supports bolts out. Do not pull too much and upset exhaust and other things like that. It will be tight but by wiggling it back and forth and side to side I got mine off and then found I had to pull the engine.
