After our Quake early Monday morning, the USS Sampson which was visiting Christchurch, is now steaming to Kaikoura, New Zealand, along with the Canadian HMCS Vancouver, Aussie HMAS Darwin, and our own HMNZS Wellington and Canterbury warships to take food and Diesel and uplift about 1,000 stranded tourists that got a vacation they would not forget in a big hurry.

Glad we can help. Those ships will have medical facilities, too, if they're needed.
