OK, we all work on our old iron. we baby and pamper, sometime fuss and cuss but in the end we end up with something were that can plow the mustard.

Just read on CBS news about a guy the found a complete B-29 in the Calf. desert. with the help of volunteers including a 91-year old lady who put the rivets on the bird to start with in 44 they got the bird flying. OL DOC i bet, just like our old iron, if had to, could tote the load.

Saw that segment too. Wonderful, Love to see the pride in all those folks restoring it and the ones that were there to build it in 1945 and fly them.

I saw this also. A very interesting story. Lot of
dedicated prow had a hand in this project.

There was a Rosie the Riveter on the episode this
morning who had actually worked on this very
aircraft. She was 91 years old.
