These steps came off an oliver 88, are they true oliver or aftermarket? They are factory made. And anybody have an idea what they are worth?

All those hard angle sure look homemade to me even for the 1950s, but still might have some value to someone who wants steps and doesn't want to make them. I'm by no means an expert though either!

Ah Jon,
Don't think this is going to be your retirement bonanza! Yeah Oliver steps, but if someone wants to give you over $60 to $80, let me know. Don't look like they are in the best shape.
What are you doing - Stripping it down to go pulling? LOL

Yer phreind,
Jim

We found them in the shed whioe cleaning it out. They belong to my friend Jeff and he said if they have any value and someone wants them they can come get them. That's why I asked what the value is, I'll post them in the adds when someone gives me a number. Do you know if they are real Oliver steps?

I have had two sets like these in the past. I think they were made by Knodler Mfg. Co of Streator ,Ill.Have seen several other sets that were about the same. cllint

I think Oleclint is right, I believe most of them were built by Knoedler for the most part. I don't believe any came from Oliver directly. We have a couple sets just like the ones you have there, and a couple sets that have toolboxes under the bottom step. The bottom step is a flip up lid for the toolbox. We really like them, they are real handy for getting on and off, and storing stuff in the toolbox ones. Most I see at auctions or other places go for $50-$75 if they are decent looking and straight.
