1st Frost for South Central KS

Had the first light frost this morning. Thermometer said 36 at dawn but there was frost in low areas and on the windshield of my truck. This will motivate me to fix the door on my pump house that's been broken since spring.

We had our third light frost in Terre Haute.
Tomorrow it might freeze.

Planning to pull last of tomatoes, vine and
all and hang in pole barn.

Here in Missouri the Lake of the Ozarks area we had a killing frost last night. I picked every thing I could find in the garden yesterday. I'll be doing jalapeno jelly soon. Then once it stays cold I'll do straw berry and black berry jams

Heck here in northern Az we have had no less than 10 killing frosts already but we are at 6500 feet elevation

Here in Southeastern Indiana, down in a valley, we had 31F. this morning. No fog, heavy frost. Very little damage is apparent. It is now in the "light of the moon" and it's been my experience that much less damage is done when such conditions prevail.

We had our first spotty frost Thursday morning in North AR. They say our 1st killing frost will be Sunday.
