Jon was a recent visitor to my small farm and shop. During the tour of my shop I told Jon about my troubles using my Lincoln MIG welder. This got Jon's attention as he knew it was a good welder. He immediately started checking it over and found the trouble and made recommendations to fix it. I ordered a new wire liner and went to larger size wire. Now wire feed is constant as it should be. I also bought a Century auto darkening helmet and now can see my arc better. Great friend and good help.

Thanks Gene

I'm glad I was able to help out. Any time I give advice I worry it won't work out, then I would feel bad. That is the best of the small welders as far as I'm concerned, and it should work well up to 1/4" material. I used mine on even thicker stuff sometimes when I needed portability.

(quoted from post at 18:24:13 12/29/16) You had a picture of a case 930 (nut case) in one of your posts. does this tractor still exist?

It's owned by a gent named Bob Fields in Wi. now and still going strong.
